Sunday, April 17th - the first Blue Jays at our feeder. The temperature hit +17C - our warmest day this spring. However, tonite, back down to +3C.

While raking the grass this afternoon, I found a legband from a bird - no bird, just the legband. I reported it to "Bird Band" in Laurel, MD and they will send a certificate of appreciation, with the details as to the bird and where it was banded, etc.
